Accessibility Guide
The Vancouver Christmas Market is dedicated to creating a welcoming European Village for everyone. Explore our guide to accessible pathways, caregiver policies, and inclusive on-site amenities. If you have any questions at all please contact us and we’d be happy to support your visit.
Wide, paved pathways connect all artisan huts, food areas, and activations across Jack Poole Plaza. Smooth, wheelchair- and stroller-friendly ramps are positioned at the main entrance and transition areas to ensure seamless movement.
When a guest with a disability purchases an admission ticket or Season Pass, their accompanying caregiver receives complimentary entry at the gate. Simply present valid accreditation (such as an Access 2 card) to our team upon arrival.
A passenger drop-off zone is located at the foot of Howe Street for level access to the entrance. Underground accessible parking is available at the Canada Place parkade and the Vancouver Convention Centre, both offering elevator access to street level.
Dedicated wheelchair-accessible and universal washroom trailers are located on-site. Guests looking to rest will find comfortable, heated seating inside the Alpen Haus, alongside complimentary stroller parking.
Certified service dogs assisting guests are welcome in all public areas of the village. Please note that in compliance with municipal health and food-service regulations, non-service pets are not permitted on the premises.
For a quieter experience with smaller crowds, we recommend visiting weekday afternoons (Monday to Thursday, 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM) or weekend opening hours (11:30 AM – 1:30 PM).
